Sorry, but I don't get how this is a 'book'

I really like Ben and his site. So I got the book at a discount for a review and I'll be honest. I seriously don't get how it's a book. It's basically about 1-2 pages for each "thing" or topic with a link to an article on his site or some other reference. I expect a book to have everything I want / need to know about the author's topic laid out in the book, for the most part...if I wanted to dig around websites for the information, I wouldn't buy a book. Something as massive as "heal your gut" or "sleep more / better" warrants a heck of a lot more than a page with a link. I also got the book because the promo promised an awesome "sleep hack" but I can't find that unless it's buried in the link on his site which I haven't fully digested yet.

dense compilation of proven performance-enhancing strategies

I have followed Ben’s blog and podcasts for years and referred many to his website. His passion, breadth of knowledge and personal implementation of strategies to enhance performance and overall wellness remain unparalleled. This book is a dense compilation of those proven strategies and serves as an extremely valuable resource for those that do not have time to listen to hundreds of podcasts. I would estimate that there are at least 100 podcasts worth of information in this concise book. Ben did a superb job extracted a huge amount of research-based information and techniques that have worked for him personally and that are easily implemented into anyone’s routine. The book is user-friendly and provides many links to all the techniques and products. This is an excellent all in one guide to optimize your physical performance, cognitive performance and overall health and longevity.

Not what one would have expected from such a knowledgeable author. This is NOT a book. It is in fact a promotional item designed to lure the reader into providing the author with traffic to his website. In order to gain any knowledge you have to follow the links to his articles which are freely available to anyone out there! Furthermore, had I bought this to take on holiday and excitedly clicked on it whilst on the link then I would have been even more disappointed! Books should not require internet access! Wreaks of desperation man...and sneaky deception. Save your money and visit his site instead if you think that he has anything that may be of value to your life. Very disappointing and a waste of money
